Couscous Salad

Couscous is generally a healthful food that you can feel comfortable including as part of a well-balanced diet. It's naturally low in Fat, can be a good source of Fiber (the whole wheat version), and provides some Protein, B Vitamins, and Minerals

Couscous Salad - Guide My Diet

Ingredients:

  • Couscous -100gm

  • Green capsicum - ½ (20gm)

  • Red capsicum – ½ (20gm)

  • Yellow capsicum- ½ (20gm)

  • Carrot - 1 (50gm)

  • Cucumber- ½ (50gm)

  • Lemon Juice - 1 Teaspoon

  • Olive Oil - 2 Spoons

  • Coriander - Some Leaves

  • Oregano/Chilli Flakes/Black Pepper: as per taste

Method:

  • Boil 100gm couscous in the same amount of water.

  • Add salt to taste.

  • Meanwhile chop all vegetables like bell pepper, capsicum, cucumber, coriander leaves & carrot.

  • Mix all ingredients like couscous, olive oil, chopped veggies, coriander leaves, oregano, chili flakes & black pepper in a bowl.

  • Service it with lemon juice & Mint leaves.

  • Fat- 11.9gm
