Wheatgrass MilkShake

Wheatgrass is high in chlorophyll and many vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Test-tube and animal studies have found that its antioxidant content may prevent oxidative stress and cell damage.

If you are consuming it in the form of a smoothie, wheatgrass can be mixed with fruit juice. It can also be consumed with milk as mentioned in this recipe.

  • Strawberries: 4-6

  • Banana - 2 (Alternative to Strawberries)

  • Milk: 150ml

  • Honey: 1tsp

  • Wheatgrass: 1tsp

  • Choco chips: 2tsp (optional for topping)

  • Put Strawberries/Banana in a blender & blend them with a little milk, to make a puree.

  • Now Put Honey, Wheatgrass & remainder of the Milk.

  • Now Put it in a Glass or Jar and Cool it for 1 hour.

  • Energy: 51 kcal

  • Protein: 35g (contains all essential amino acids)

  • Fats: 83g

  • Fiber: 76g

  • Phosphorus: 336mg

  • Niacin: 339mg
